Corsets have been around the world for centuries, leaving a lasting impact on fashion through their significant influence. Dating back to ancient Greece. It is reported that the Minoans were the first civilization to wear corsets. The Minoans inhabited Crete and lived in the vicinity of Greece around 1000 BC.
Following the bloom of the Regency Era and continuing to this day in some forms, corsets have remained a constant presence.
Apart from the beauty of Corsets and aesthetics, it can succumb to a hazard for health as well as for freedom.
With the design that holds the figure together, corsets became a dire threat to lung capacity, leading to shallow breathing and potential respiratory problems. Melding issues with organ displacement to muscle weakness, the corsets are criticised for promoting unhealthy practices and restrictions imposed to keep women in a certain way, as society pleases.

Fabrics are skin friendly soft, sheer and yes beautifully tailored. Unlike a factory, at our studio we make each piece separately and one whole piece is made by one tailor. You can order your size and can be rest assured of the exact fit.

Many versions of Daboo prints contain chemicals that can have a negative impact on our aquatic ecosystems. To address this concern, we have opted for screen printing, enabling us to craft vibrant, artisanal designs while preserving the health of our marine environments.
